Council of Delegates 2011 - BRUSSELS | BELGIUM
This year the AIE held a shorter 'business version' of our traditional Council of Delegates and the AIE secretariat welcomed everyone to the NH Hotel du Grand Sablon in the citycentre of Brussels to attend the 57th edition of the Council of Delegates. We warmly thank all the participants and we want to share some pictures with all of you.

Smiling faces for Markus Stöger from Austria, Bernt Erlend Fridell from Norway and Arno Conradin from Switzerland. They are the winners of the 11th European Competition of Young Electricians (CYE), which took place from 26th to 29th October 2010 as part of the Spanish trade fair Matelec in Madrid and which was warmly hosted by our members of FENIE.
Markus Stöger well earned the maximum number of 723 points, but the difference between the first two places was not more than 6 total points – so it was really a neck-and-neck race. After competing for the maximum 22 hours it was clear who had best managed the combination of the installation task based on the KNX standard and the theoretical test. .... The AIE together with the Task Force CYE 2010, hosting partners FENIE/Spain and supporting partners KNX and MATELEC have been welcoming seven countries to the competition in Madrid during the MATELEC event. You will find more info and pictures at the official CYE website www.aie-cye.eu
